Come experience a sampling of musical theatre outdoors, in the Third Ward’s Catalano Square as the Skylight Opera Theatre launches a new summer concert series, Cabaret in the Ward!

Every Tuesday evening in August, we’ll highlight some of our amazing talent. We’ll feature a wide range of musical theatre from opera to Broadway, performed by the seasoned professionals seen in our main stage productions and exciting, young, up and comers too.

The series will close with a spectacular Open House on August 31st, which will include guided tours, special performances and a 2010-11 season preview. So bring your blankets, chairs and picnic baskets or grab dinner to go from one of the Third Ward’s gourmet restaurants and meet us in the park!

*Incase of inclement weather performances will take place indoors
at the Broadway Theatre Center.

There will be at least 25 High School and College aged performers singing show tunes.
Kids from Skylight Summer Musical Project, First Stage and HS of the Arts.
