Box Office FAQs

Q. How early should I get there before the performance starts?

A. If you'd like, you can enjoy dinner in the Skylight Bar & Bistro on the second floor of the Broadway Theatre Center prior to the show. If you will not be dining with us, we recommend arriving approximately twenty minutes prior to show time. This will allow time to pre-order your intermission drinks, enjoy the audience guides if you'd so desire and find your seat without feeling rushed.

Q. Where should I park?

A. At the Broadway Theatre Center, there is available parking on the street at the meters (which are free after 6:00 PM Monday-Saturday and completely free on Sundays) or in the lots and structures nearby. Many visitors to the Broadway Theatre Center use the parking structure on the corner of Water and Chicago or the parking structure on the corner of Milwaukee and Chicago, both of which are $6 a day or $4 after 4:00 PM. For more information about parking availability, click here.

Q. What happens if I arrive late?

A. To minimize the disturbance to the performers and audience, late patrons will be escorted by the House Manager to the most easily accessible seats at predetermined intervals in the play. Audio feed in our lobby will allow you to follow the performance until you're taken inside. You may move to your assigned seats at intermission.

Q. Can I bring my camera?

A. Please don't. Union rules prohibit the taking of photographs during performances. We are required to confiscate any recording equipment we see inside the theatre. Please refrain from using camera phones as well.

Q. Can I order tickets online?

A. You most certainly can. Click here.

Q. What are the service fees associated with ticket purchases?

A. Phone orders are subject to a $5/order handling fee. Online orders are subject to a $5/order and a $2/ticket handling fee. There are no service fees associated with in-person ticket purchases.

Q. Does my child need a ticket?

A. Yes. Everyone admitted to the performance must have a ticket, regardless of his or her age. Patrons are discouraged from bringing any child that will not be able to remain still and quiet throughout the performance, which may run for two or more hours. If you have any questions about the appropriateness of a production for children, please call our Box Office (414-291-7800).

Q. When can I come to the Box Office to purchase tickets in person?

A. The Box Office (414-291-7800) is open Monday through Saturday from 12:00-6:00 and two hours prior to any ticketed event.

Q. Do you mail my tickets to me?

A. Tickets purchased more than a week in advance are mailed. Tickets purchased inside of one week from the performance will be held at will-call.

Q. Can I add more tickets to my order at a later date?

A. You may order additional tickets at a later date, but we cannot guarantee that those seats will be near your original purchase.

Q. I cannot make the performance. Can I get a refund?

A. The Broadway Theatre Center understands that you have things come up occasionally. We can exchange tickets outside of 24 hours prior to the performance for a $2/ticket handling fee. We are unable to offer refunds at this time.

Q. Is the seating wheelchair accessible?

A. There is accessible seating in both theatres. Please let the Box Office representative know that you will need accessible seating at the time of purchase and we will be pleased to accommodate you.

Q. Where can I get something to eat before or after the show?

A. The Skylight Bar & Bistro is proud to feature delicious dining options by Kafevino. To check the menu, click here. Reservations are recommended; call (414) 224-4900.

Q. Where can I get something to eat before or after the show?
